Biography

Cliff was born in 1910 at Kangaroo Ground. Like his sister Ruby, became very ill with tuberculosis. Cliff had been very involved with the breeding of Greyhounds. Which after his death his brother Mervyn continued on with and had some success. Cliff's health was already failing in 1934.

Cliff is buried at Rochester Cemetery with his parents and sister Ruby.

In the 1931 Victorian Electoral Roll Cliff is listed as an Invalid who resided at 21 Wells St Lockington.

WELLER: On the 29 February 1936 passed away in Bendigo Hospital. Herbert Clifford Lindsay, son of Mr and Mrs John Weller, of Lockington, aged 25 years.
